Now I’m twenty-five, a woman grown,
With a heart of steel and courage shown.
I fight each day for your return,
In the fires of truth, I fiercely burn.
Father, hear my unwavering plea,
Through marches and protests, I’m setting us free.
From Quetta to Karachi, I’ve walked the miles,
In the faces of mothers, I’ve found their smiles.
I lead the voices of the disappeared,
In every step, I’ve faced what I feared.
Documenting pain, seeking the light,
Against the darkness, I wage this fight.

I’ve faced threats, detention, and disdain,
But your memory fuels my campaign.
They’ve tried to break me, time and again,
Yet here I stand, your daughter, with a pen.
Father, they’ve silenced many, but not my resolve,
In every heartache, our spirit evolves.
I bear the scars, the trials we’ve faced,
But in your name, injustices are traced.
Through raids and threats, I’ve stood tall,
In every setback, I refuse to fall.
For you, for us, for justice’s song,
In this battle, I’ll forever belong.
The world now sees, the pain we endure,
In every action, my intentions are pure.
From ten to twenty-five, I’ve grown in might,
For your return, I will always fight.
Father, know that I’m your voice,
In every tear, in every choice.
Until you’re back where you belong,
I’ll keep on fighting, forever strong
