In continuous violations of human rights, the Islamic regime of Ayatollahs has carried out the execution of a Baloch man, Mehran Naroi, on drug offense in Esfahan on Monday, May 17.

Mehran was subjected to enforced disappearance and torture. He was incarcerated in solitary confinement a couple of days before he was executed in Dastgerd prison in Esfahan.

According to various media reports, In the past three months, three Baloch prisoners named Abdolrahman Saberinia Mehrshad Shahbakhsh Abdol Rauf Tootazahi were executed in Qaen’s Prison.

The Baloch human rights activists fear there are many other Baloch on death row who remain at the imminent risk of being executed and have appealed to the international community to take meaningful steps to stop Iranian authorities from committing serious crimes with impunity.

Iran executed at least 267 prisoners in the year 2020, reported the Paris-based Together Against the Death Penalty (ECPM) and Iran Human Rights (IHR).
