Geneva:
The Baloch Voice Association (BVA) has launched a three-day photo exhibition in Geneva, highlighting Pakistan’s gross human rights abuses against the Baloch people.
The photo exhibition outside the Palais Wilson began on March 2 during the 46th session of the United Nation’s human rights council.
According to the organizer of the BVA, Munir Mengal, the photos represent the various forms of human rights violations being perpetrated by the state authorities against the Baloch people in Balochistan.
“The military conducted 682 raids in various parts of Balochistan in 2020 alone, in which houses were looted and many people were extra-judicially killed and forcibly disappeared”, read the banners.
