Kandahar:
At least four Baloch men were shot dead in an attack in Spin Boldak district in Kandahar, Afghanistan.
The deceased were identified as Ghulam Nabi, Jangi, Saka, and Amir Jan of the Bugti tribe.
Many Bugti tribesmen including the recently murdered were compelled to flee their hometown Dera Bugti to neighboring Afghanistan following a series of military operations by the Pakistani authorities that also killed the veteran Baloch leader Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti in 2006.
Many Baloch nationalists including the Baloch leader Nawab Brahumdagh Bugti have accused the secretive agencies of Pakistan of the murder of the Bugti men.
The Baloch political and human rights activists have appealed to the United Nations to take notice of the increasing killings of Baloch refugees in Afghanistan and to press Pakistan to refrain from actions that clearly fall under crimes against humanity.
