Kandahar:
Explosions happened during Friday prayers at the Imam Bargah Mosque in Kandahar. More than 30 people were injured in the blast, officials say.
Qari Saeed Khosti, interior minister’s spokesman said authorities were collecting details of the explosion, which occurred days after the Islamic State claimed a bombing at a Shia mosque in the northern city of Kunduz that killed several people.
An eyewitness told the AFP news agency he heard three blasts, one at the main door of the mosque, another at a southern area, and a third where worshippers wash themselves.
No one has claimed the responsibility for the attack.
