London:
The Sindhi Baloch Forum (SBF) will be staging a protest outside Downing Street on Sunday against Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi’s upcoming visit to the United Kingdom.
SBF will highlight the atrocities being committed by Pakistan in Sindh and Balochistan. It will also call on the UK Prime Minister to pressure Qureshi to end the human rights violations in Sindh and Balochistan including the extrajudicial killing of Sindhi and Baloch dissidents by Pakistani secretive agencies and Police.
Qureshi will be in London from September 26-29, said Pakistan Government sources. According to some analysts of South Asia, Qureshi will seek financial aid for the government of Pakistan and its proxies in Afghanistan.
During his visit, Shah Mahmood Qureshi will meet senior British government officials, including those responsible for dealing with Afghanistan and the wider South Asian region.
SBF has said that it will sponsor a petition to the office of the UK’s Prime Minister and request its government that UK taxpayers’ money not be used to fund groups and countries involved in terrorist activities and grave human rights violations.
