At least four Pakistani soldiers of Frontier Corps (FC) were killed on Saturday when their convoy hit an improvised explosive device in the Bolan area of Balochistan, according to BLA spokesperson Jeeyand Baloch.
Two other soldiers were seriously injured in the blast, which occurred when the FC vehicle in the convoy was returning to base after conducting a military operation in the area, said Jeeyand in a statement.
He further said that Hussain Rehmat, Mohammad Saleem, Majid Fareed, and Zakir of FC were killed in the attack, whereas, Captain Awais and Lieutenant Luqman were badly injured.
Pakistan military officials are yet to confirm the death of its soldiers in the blast.
The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed many such deadly attacks in the past resulting in the death of hundreds of Pakistani military personnel.
