Zahedan:
At least 6 Baloch prisoners were executed by the Islamic regime of Iran in October 2021 alone. One prisoner is on death row.
On October 11, the Iranian authorities executed Ebrahim Rakhshani in Ghaen for drug-related offences. Rakhshani had spent three years on death row. Another Baloch prisoner Omid Sarani also met the same fate without a fair trial. He was executed by the Islamic regime on October 11 after spending 2 years on death row for drug offences.

Musa Shahbakhsh, arrested on charges of clashing with the security forces, was executed in Zahedan on October 17. Zakaria Baluch was also hanged in Zahedan prison on October 18 on drug-related charges. Another Baloch Saeed Sadeghi who had spent nearly 20 years on death row on the charge of murder was hanged in Saravan prison on October 17.
On October 21, Nazar Naz Ghanbarzehi, a Baloch prisoner arrested for drug offences was executed in Zahedan central prison.
It was reported that another Baloch man Hamid Regi in his early 20s from Khash was arrested by the Iranian security forces for drug-related offences six months ago. He was recently sentenced to death by a court in Iran. He will be executed after 2 weeks, reported Rasank News.

According to the Iran HRM, a website highlighting the human rights situation in Iran, the Islamic regime in Iran has executed 288 people in 2021 alone, more than the total number of executions in 2020.
