DERA ALLAHYAR: the BNP President, Sardar Akhtar Mengal, has predicted that the establishment will send present rulers home on one pretext or the other before the next Senate elections.
Talking to a delegation of PNP leaders and activists from Naseerabad, Sar Akhtar Mengal deplored that politicians had always defended their self interests. They served their self interests in democracy or during the autocratic rule over Pakistan, the BNP chief told his party men.
‘Constitution, rule of law and the highly oppressed and suppressed had never been on their priorities,” Sardar Mengal said.
“The Government held talks with those who had paralyzed the entire country suspending the life in dozens of cities while force is being used against the Baloch people,” the BNP President told his guests.
Mr. Mengal was of the view that the Establishment is using Imran Khan for political purposes. The PPP had been wiped out from the Punjab and now it is the turn of PML-N, he added. He said that the future Government in Pakistan will function according to the will of the real rulers.
The BNP delegation comprised Mir Ehsan Khosa, the District BNP President, Mr. Dilshad Khosa, and Mr. Murad Baloch who met the party chief and exchanged views on political issues with a special reference to recent developments in the country.
“Those kept Islamabad under siege were their own people while the Balochs considered aliens,” Sardar Akhtar Mengal remarked.
He said that Gwadar is denied drinking water facility and the people are agitating on this issue and no one takes notice to humanitarian issue.
The BNP leader claimed that the people of Gwadar are being forced to migrate and vacate the land for others by denying them drinking water.
The BNP chief said that Kachhi Canal is an incomplete project and there is no visible plan to irrigating remaining 640,000 acres of highly fertile land in Sibi-Kachhi Plains.
