QUETTA: Chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Zehri had directed all concerned officials to ensure implementation of schemes related to CPEC projects in Balochistan.
Receiving a team of experts from China, accompanied by the Government officials, the Chief Minister said that he would not tolerate any delay in implementing the CPEC schemes.
A delegation of experts from China assigned the task to prepare the feasibility report of the Quetta Mass Transit scheme met the Chief Minister and Nawab Zehri issued instructions to all concerned to extend all cooperation to the Chinese delegation of experts. The Chinese would get maximum cooperation during their professional duties, the Chief Minister assured.
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister would launch his laptop scheme on which the Government would spend around Rs 500 million by distributing laptops to competent and needy students. The scheme would be launched in June this year, an official announcement said.
The Chief Minister had also issued instructions to start implementing the development schemes for the District Headquarters and they should be complete before the end of current fiscal year.
He said he would soon visit the Divisional and District Headquarters to review the uplift scheme and particularly the pace of work. In order to extend better facilities, the Balochistan Government is spending a huge amount of money on improving the services to the people in the remote regions. All the schemes are related to Chief Minister Development Programme to extend basic services to the people in Divisional and District Headquarters of Balochistan.
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister had issued instructions to the Planning and Development Department to complete all the projects costing Rs 100 million or more should be complete before end of this fiscal year. He said he would personally inspect the scheme by making visit to all those areas.
