The Parliamentary Committee on China-Pakistan Economic Corridor has reviewed the security situation for various projects and staff working under CPEC.
The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed in Islamabad on Monday.
The committee was briefed on CPEC projects and personnel with reference to role of newly formed Special Security Division.
The meeting also reviewed Maritime Security Force and its role in security of Gwadar port.
It was decided in the meeting that following the recent terrorist incidents in the country, the security of CPEC projects would be further beefed up across the country.
